Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health Awareness

On Friday we held a Mental Health Awareness afternoon in school, marking the end of Mental Health Awareness week. We began by sharing a clip in assembly ‘Talking Mental Health’. We talked about the range of feelings and emotions which we may experiences and what we can do if these feelings become too big. Through school the children had the opportunity to choose from a range of activities which they felt would help them relax and unwind at the end of a busy week. The children enjoyed working with peers from all classes. We enjoyed sensory activities, mindfulness colouring, peer massage, Lego, yoga and reading for pleasure.
